Examzzz...

Just finish 2 outta 5 papers. Hopefully can get HD for both... DC paper was unbelieveably easy. Only 2 chapters tested and all calculation questions. I mean, it's ONLY 2 chapters, so I would expect the exam to be very tough and tricky. Turned out to be a no-brainer. It's like the person who set the paper cannot even be bothered to put effort into it. I came out of the exam hall just 42 mins into the 2 hour paper.

True/False Questions (1 mark each)
Q1: Merchandising is a day-to-day part of retailing.
Q2: Merchandising is a subfunction of retailing.
Q3: Merchandising is the heartbeat of retailing.

I totally rolled my eyes at question 3. Like what the heck, HEARTBEAT??! You gotta be kidding me. Apparently, there is a sentence in the textbook that goes,"Merchandising, though only a subfunction, is the heartbeat of retailing." This person created 2 questions with 1 sentence! Tsk tsk. It's like I'm expected to memorise the textbook or something. I can't believe this batch of students got away with such an easy paper.

Anyway, I was calculating my GPA and I did not like what I see. Maybe it's because I'm graduating soon or that I'm slowly getting the hang of studying, but results are somewhat important to me now. I don't just wanna be a B student anymore. I wanna be an A student. I'm even seriously considering taking the CFA to cover up my not-so-fantastic degree. I must admit though that the only reason why I'm hesistating is because this requires a lot of discipline and I don't know if I can have that discipline. I've never been a good student, and I don't know if I will ever be.

I've been thinking of getting a larger microSD card for my handphone so I can do away with my mp3 player. After all, my F480 plays music quite nicely. =)

Me: Di, mummy's SD card wat size?

Dad: I think about the same size as the SIM card. You take out and see.

Me: ???

Mum: *explains to dad wat i actually meant*

Dad: Ooh... 1G.

Me: -__-"

And to the airport again for me and Pris. Just realise my UOB card got 10% discount for Popeyes. Stupid for so long... =/

Birthday boy treated us to lunch at Al Ameen. Hee. Shall let the pics do the talking.

I've seriously toyed with the idea of getting a prosumer digital camera for leisure purposes, cuz my 450D is rather unsuitable for such purposes. Its huge file sizes makes it very difficult for me to share the photos with other people. But, being a really poor student, I think I can just make do with my handphone camera. Lol.

Meanwhile I'm eyeing on this Canon Luxury line fixed lens. Costs $400! Got to play with it using Aik Koon's camera and I totally fell in love with it. Hah. Can take really nice close shots which is what I like to do. =)

On a side note, Pris and I have been religiously patronising the airport for our study marathon. Lol. It has been very productive, but still I have 3 more very heavy modules that I've yet to touch! 9 more days to exams!!! Jia Youuu!!!

Fire on PIE

Was driving past PIE the other day and saw a huge fire from far. Everyone slowed down to take a good look. Some peeps even parked on the road shoulder and got out of their car to take pics of it. lol.

I wonder what happened...

Anyway, I just wanna apologise to all who have had to tolerate me for the past week. I've been extremely irritable and emotional. Maybe due to stress or lack of sleep or whatever. Believe me, I'm fully aware that I've been super unpleasant to be around with. Just that, you know, when you are THAT cranky, you really cannot be bothered to do anything about the temper, and you will just vent your frustrations on everyone else because you don't know how else to do it. Like what my beloved student Ploy2 once said,"I wanna scold bad words now! But I can't!"
